 Employer Partnerships Coordinator

The Employer Partnerships Coordinator supports statewide and local youth engagement programs and initiatives that build young people’s resilience and strengthen youth leadership on issues of public health, social justice, youth employment, and restorative practices. The coordinator is responsible for integrating local and statewide curriculum development, training, and technical assistance initiatives for adults, organizations, systems, and youth about the following topics: positive youth development, restorative practices, developmental relationships, youth employment best practices, and health equity strategies. This position will directly support the recruitment of prospective host site employers and coordinate statewide youth employment programming initiatives, facilitate an alumni host site employer network, support statewide strategy and initiatives with MYAN statewide team and district-level stakeholders, co-plan the annual Youth Leadership Conference for youth and adults; and co-facilitate trainings as needed.

Youth Mental Health Coordinator

The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a Youth Mental Health Coordinator to join the team in our Maine Youth Action Network.  The Maine Youth Action Network (MYAN) has been operating for two decades as a support system for youth programming and as a catalyst for youth leadership development. We partner directly with young people, adult advisers, and local organizations to offer a broad spectrum of support to youth from Maine’s diverse communities. MYAN encourages prevention-focused, youth-centric social change through programming and technical assistance for young people and adults.

This position directly supports Sources of Strength wrap-around youth programming and works closely with youth leaders to collaboratively plan and host the annual Maine Youth Leadership Conference featuring youth leadership on issues of public health, social justice, and restorative practices.

 Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator 

The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator to join the team in our Main Youth Action Network. The Maine Youth Action Network (MYAN) has been operating for two decades as a support system for youth programming and as a catalyst for youth leadership development. We partner directly with young people, adult advisers, and local organizations to offer a broad spectrum of support to youth from Maine’s diverse communities. MYAN encourages prevention-focused, youth-centric social change through programming and technical assistance for young people and adults. Come join our team and help make a difference in our vibrant community!

The Training & Technical Assistance Coordinator supports MYAN statewide programming including professional development trainings for adults, youth leadership training, and the Maine Youth Leadership Conference. The Coordinator is responsible for integrating local and statewide curriculum development, training, and technical assistance initiatives for adults, organizations, systems, and youth about the following topics: positive youth development, restorative practices, developmental relationships, and health equity strategies. This position works closely with youth leaders to collaboratively plan and host the annual Maine Youth Leadership Conference featuring youth leadership on issues of public health, social justice, and restorative practices.
