"Guard your light and protect it. Move it forward into the world and be fully confident that if we connect light to light to light, and join the lights together of the one billion young people in our world today, we will be enough to set our whole planet aglow."

Welcome to our online networking & skillbuilding groups!

These groups connect us to each other so we can truly experience the larger MYAN Network and how we are each part of a larger movement for positive change. They are a way to find people, resources and tools about the issues you care about. Settle in and make yourself comfortable. Join and explore whichever groups speak to you & your interests.

Networking & skillbuilding groups will help you
get to know one another,
contribute to the conversation,
share your expertise,
inspire each other,
find tips & tools

and learn.

It's what MYAN's all about...power in #s, 2 heads (or more) are better than one, many hands make light work.... Never doubt that a small group (yours!) can make great change.

Some notes about the online networking & skillbuilding groups:
  • when you register as a member you join one of the "regional groups" based on where you live or work, but you can join as many additional groups as you like by clicking on categories below, finding groups and then clicking "join" on the group's home page.

  • As long as you're signed in as a member, you can visit the networking & skillbuilding groups without joining them, but have to join to participate in forums, send emails/messages to other group members, and have photos/events you send to the group admin posted in the group.
  • District Youth Councils »

  • These groups are for members of the district youth councils.
  • Statewide Networks & Clubs »

  • Are there other people/organizations out there doing the same type of work? Is your club/group at other schools, too? These groups are meant to keep you connected with other people with similar groups/roles, such as Healthy Maine Partnership (HMP) Youth Advocacy Programs (YAPs) and School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs)!
  • MYAN Program Groups »

  • MYAN is one big family for sure! Everyone in the Network is part of MYAN, but groups in this category are specifically for youth and/or adults participating in one or more of MYAN's programs.
