Welcome to our online networking & skillbuilding groups!
These groups connect us to each other so we can truly experience the larger MYAN Network and how we are each part of a larger movement for positive change. They are a way to find people, resources and tools about the issues you care about. Settle in and make yourself comfortable. Join and explore whichever groups speak to you & your interests.
Networking & skillbuilding groups will help you
get to know one another,
contribute to the conversation,
share your expertise,
inspire each other,
find tips & tools
and learn.
It's what MYAN's all about...power in #s, 2 heads (or more) are better than one, many hands make light work.... Never doubt that a small group (yours!) can make great change.

Some notes about the online networking & skillbuilding groups:
-
when you register as a member you join one of the "regional groups" based on where you live or work, but you can join as many additional groups as you like by clicking on categories below, finding groups and then clicking "join" on the group's home page.
-
As long as you're signed in as a member, you can visit the networking & skillbuilding groups without joining them, but have to join to participate in forums, send emails/messages to other group members, and have photos/events you send to the group admin posted in the group. |
Connect with other groups and individuals from your area.
Are there other people/organizations out there doing the same type of work? Is your club/group at other schools, too? These groups are meant to keep you connected with other people with similar groups/roles, such as Healthy Maine Partnership (HMP) Youth Advocacy Programs (YAPs) and School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs)!
Passionate about a specific topic or issue? These are groups designed to help people come together around a common cause.
These groups are all about the "hows" that make it possible to get things done! Join these groups for ideas, resources and discussion on how to work together successfully to create change.
MYAN is one big family for sure! Everyone in the Network is part of MYAN, but these groups are specifically for people who've had staff or leadership roles within the MYAN world.
