"Guard your light and protect it. Move it forward into the world and be fully confident that if we connect light to light to light, and join the lights together of the one billion young people in our world today, we will be enough to set our whole planet aglow."

Network Without Leaving Your Chair!

Posted By Molly O'Connell, People's Regional Opportunity Program, Friday, February 26, 2010
There are a ton of ways to network using this site, but one of the best ways is our Networking & Skillbuilding Groups, where you can:
  • get updates
  • find & promote events
  • discuss ideas
  • share news
  • ask questions
  • share photos
  • message other group members
  • & more.
You have to be a member to join networking & skillbuilding groups, but registering as a member is easy & free!

There are networking & skillbuilding groups for folks interested in:
  • Being Healthy (including anti-tobacco, substance abuse prevention, physical activity & nutrition promotion, sexual health & healthy relationships, mental health, etc.)
  • Creating Change (discussions about advocacy & action planning, civic engagement, working with the media, etc.)
  • HMP YAP work
  • School-Based Health Care
  • & More
When you go to the group you're interested in, don't forget to click "join this group" at the top, which allows you to participate in forums, post photos, message group members & more.

We hope you'll check the groups out to connect, exchange & get motivated!
