"Guard your light and protect it. Move it forward into the world and be fully confident that if we connect light to light to light, and join the lights together of the one billion young people in our world today, we will be enough to set our whole planet aglow."

Important registration information

A few things to know before you register:

Why are member types organized by age?
Good question! We ask for age type for a variety of reasons: we want to be able to send targeted informational emails to members (about grants, leadership opportunities, events, etc.) that make sense rather than sending everyone everything. We also want to be able to show our funders the age diversity within our network. We are required by law to seek parental consent for any user under 13, so that's certainly an important one!

Parental Consent--read this if you are under 13
We are legally required to gain parental consent before anyone under 13 becomes a member of our online community. If you are under 13, go through the registration process, and after you are done, we will contact your parent/guardian before you are approved. If your parent/guardian gives permission, you will get a confirmation email saying you're set to go. If your parent/guardian denies permission, you and your parent/guardian will get an email saying that your information is being deleted and MYAN will not retain any of the information you provided during the registration process.

A special note for European Union (EU) members
Personal information provided via MYAN's Online Community registration process may be transferred and stored in countries outside the EU, including the United States.
